Default Spellbinder's Shapeabilities Question

I bought some Spellbinder's Shapeabilities dies (Lace Doily) and am having trouble removing the paper from the die after they are cut. They cut beautifully, but I am unable to pull the paper from the die without tearing it. I just wondered if anybody has any tips? Thank you.

I always use card stock and it works great. Maybe your paper is too thin.

do you put waxpaper between the die and the paper? When you do this the cardstock slips right out of the die.
blessings.
