Default Spellbinders M-Bossabilities sandwich

I bought a few M-Bossabilities embossing folders and used them today for the first time. The instructions for the Cuttlebug sandwich is from bottom up: A plate, M-Bossabilities folder with media inserted between the 2 sides, 3 pieces of 65# card stock to shim, C plate. There was no way this sandwich was going through my Cuttlebug. I used A plate, embossing folder & C plate. I tried using the normal 2 B plate sandwich but that was too thick. One of the folders needed 1 65# card stock shim to give a better impression, even 2 shims wouldn't fit. What sandwich works for you?

I have a Grand Calibur so I can't help you with the sandwich. But I will tell you that each machine is different......a sandwich that works for you might be wrong for another cuttlebug owner. Its always best to start with a small amount of shim and work you way up.

Another thing that helps to get a really good embossing impression is to mist your cardstock slightly with water.

HTH & Smiles!!

I use the A plate, the M-Bossabilities, the C plate, and then a shim (which is a piece of cereal cardboard) and it works wonderfully. I guess I didn't read the directions on the package, but used the shim written from the Online Card Class - A Cut Above.
