Can someone tell me what kind of dies MFT has? Are they "open" in the middle, like the nestabilities dies or the Stampin Up framelits? Or are they made like a sizzix die?
Solid with small holes to use a pin or pokey thing to get your die cut out...if it sticks. I have a lot of them and they are top quality good cutting dies and the die cut comes out oretty easily.
Blessings
Some of the newer ones, like the Fishtail Flags Stax, have clear thin plastic-type material in the middle.
I've got over 100 of the MFT dies and/or die sets, and have never had a problem with any of them. Of course, not all of them have been used yet, either! But still, they're good quality.
But they're not like Sizzix dies in that they're all low-profile, like the Spellbinders, Cheery Lynn, Memory Box and so on. Any Sizzix ones I have are the slightly thicker ones that use a different sandwich in the Big Shot.
I have one of the Stax (rectangles) and I don't like them. I don't like the plastic on them, it isn't aligned exactly and throws me off when I am trying to get my image straight and centered. They say you can remove the plastic, but I tried it on one, and then the die felt flimsy to me.
All my other MFT dies are solid. Those I love.

Probably there are lots of people who have them and love them. I just didn't like them so much.

I have just received my first My Favorite Things Die set. All of the dies are linked together with tiny pies of the metal. Does anyone know of a good way to separate them all?
