I'm soooooo excited - I got my very first set of Copics today!!! My sister really surprised me - I had no idea they were under the tree!!!! The only problem is......I have no idea how to use them!!!! Do you color stamps with them?? Blend them together?? Please, share your techniques - and any cards that you may have created with them!!! Thanks!!!

I think you color with them onto your stamped image, just as if you were coloring with crayons. Only, there is a blending technique...I think you start with the lighter color and move into a deeper shade, and I think you work in a circular motion...example, if you are using shades of pink, you begin with the lighter shade, and work that in a circular motion, then move into the deeper shades. I have a set, but I don't have much experience with them yet myself. I'm sure other ladies on this sight will share their tips with us!!
I'm so happy for you!! I got my first set too!!!! plus my boyfriend bought me the new EX-4 pastels!! and I am just learning how to use them as well so thankyou for starting this thread. Thanks for the links ladies!
The ink and paper you use with these is VERY IMPORTANT!
Ink: Momento
Paper: Neenah CS or the SU CS or from Walmart--Georgia Pacific
Make sure to use the I Like Markers Blog. Marianne is the woman who has worked for the company forever and she is the one that started teaching the classes. Now, there are more trainers out there.
I like memento ink but I prefer PTI or Gina K paper. I don't like using the GP paper at all. Neenah is ok but it's pretty thin.
Same here...I love memento ink, but I'm using what's left of PTI for card bases and Gina K paper for my image/coloring. Everyone has their own preference of cs, but these combos seem to have worked for a lot of copic lovers.

I'm trying to master these markers, too, and started a page off my blog I call "Copic Topics" a list of great resources for Copic users. Marianne's "I Like Markers" is definitely a great place to start. Also, to just hone your skills, I really like the Copic Creations Design challenges. The challenges link you to tutorials to help you complete the challenges - awesome.
Here's the link to "Copic Topics" where you can find links to Marianne's blog and a few Copic-related challenges.

Congrats on your new markers! I hope you love them as much as I do. They take practice, but it's worth it in the long run. I took a great copic class from My Creative Classroom and learned ALOT. Here is thier link.
another site that offers challenges with prizes for copic colored card online is
papercraft planet, and their copic buzz group http://www.papercraftplanet.com/groups
