I found the greatest embossing powder but...Hooray I found it!!!!!!!!!!!
I just love the new embossing powder I bought last week. It is bridal by PSX. I bought half an opened jar off the stamp store owner. She was so kind to share with me after I loved a card on display that was made with it. Apparently you can no longer get it. Does anyone know of anything similar? It is a beautiful pearlescent powder with tiny sparkles that shimmers as you turn it. Looks fab over a dark colored craft ink...makes it so soft and pretty.
I have bought several like that at my local craft stores and at stamp shows. I believe Hologram Highlights (SU) is like that also, isn't it? I also have "Stamp'n Stuff" Kaleidoscope. Check out stampandgo.com. - Gay Howe
Oh no!!! I have some Bridal by PSX and was going to get some more. I didn't know they quit making it!! Hmmm....if anyone finds anything else like it, I'd like to know, too. I think the Hologram is different...it changes color with the amount of heat you use...the Bridal is just pearly and irridescent....it's cool.
Since you won't be able to get it sooner or later check out Ranger and JudiKins for something similar.
JudiKins has a TON of glitter EP's and I bet you find something by them that you like.
I can't seem to find a color chart of JK powders, but Ranger's are online at their website.
I think it is more along the line of a translucent pearl powder than pearl ex or glitter....love how the color just softly shines through. Thanks for the places to look!
Julia, Do you have a Mary Maxim store near you. I see on there web site they have a store located at 75 Scott Ave., Paris, Ontario.
I found mine at one of their stores here in Michgian and it's exactly the same item.
Wow Rox! Thanks for looking it up for me. The store is about and hour and a quarter away...not something I really want to do with two small boys. I think I'll give them a call though...maybe they would mail it for me.
I love the Embossing Pearls by Ranger... they come in lots of different colors - silver, blue, red, violet, green... and you can see through. This isn't the best scan, but here is one w/ blue & violet.
I found it!!!!! Ranger makes Bridal Tinsel which is the same thing.....I just got it in the mail from Frantic Stamper and I'm so excited! Just in time for Christmas.
