I'd like some input on some colors of paper that are off-white. I really like Laura Bassen's cards that use white and Simon's off-white together (like using white with a very light gray). However her different posts say she uses Buttercream (from the new Rainbow Splash line) or she uses regular Ivory or Cream. They all look the same on the screen. I know the Buttercream is 80 pound and the others are 100 pound. But how do they compare in color?
I want an off-white that has absolutely no yellow cast to it at all. SU vanilla is too yellow.
I agree with you on the "too yellow" comment. It's fine for some things and simply off-putting for others. Help is on the way with advice soon, I am sure! I look forward to seeing what everyone chimes in.

Diane, are you wanting it to go with watercolour paper? I was searching for ages for a perfect off-white to use for a card base when my focal image is on watercolour paper. I finally found it at Michaels - their Recollections brand and the colour is White Dove. It comes in both 65 lb and 110 lb. It's just enough off-white but not as yellow-toned as my Gina K Ivory or as slightly beige-toned as my Papertrey Ink Vintage Cream (which used to be what I used to go with watercolour paper).

I had carts full of different papers to order and try out from many different companies. But I am cleaning and packing up my craft room (new furniture coming) and found some sample packs of paper I had bought many years ago from Papertrey Ink. I absolutely love their Vintage Cream. No yellow in it at all. It will fit the bill for me for what I want. Ironically, the online picture of it is way too yellow. It hasn't arrived yet and I hope that it is the same color as it used to be.
As long as it is acceptable, I won't be buying all the other brands to check out. I'll keep you posted.
Susan...I just noticed that you listed this paper as one you have. I wasn't really wanting to match watercolor paper better. I was wanting it to contrast with white (Laura Bassen does beautiful work!) like I use light gray and white together on occasion.
