Default My new ribbon storage idea

Are any of you familiar with the Joy Mangano hangers. Nothing slides off of them. Today at Target she had a 2/pack belt hanger/tie hanger. It had about eight little bars to hang belts or ties on. I figured I could just drape a yard of several different colors of ribbon on each bar. I bought two of the hooks that stick to the wall with adhesive to hang the hangers on. I need to have my ribbon visible. There's so many cool things to buy for the room but so little money. The ribbon was the most important factor. I need to make it visible. I think the hangers will solve that little dilemma.

Also, I gt my order of rubbernecker stamps yesterday such a pleasant surprise. The stamps are inexpensive, nice size, you get a free one after twenty, then fifty, then fifty more. The mice and cupcake is so cute!

One more good purchase. My pro glider glue gun. Best glue gun I've used yet.

I have tons of those hangers, I love them. Using the tie holder for ribbon is a great idea!

I'm going to take a picture of my ribbon organization just as soon as I get it done. I just found these little hangers yesterday. I didn't know she made the belt/tie hangers. I've got hundred of her regular hangers. Believe me...NOTHING will slide off of her hangers. My craft room doesn't have any doors or any closets so I bought two of the jumbo adhesive hooks to hang the hangers on. Now I just have to find a good wall. If I don't get my ribbon out where I can see it I will never use it. I just got my first order from that ribbon site that we've been talking about so I need to get it where I can see it. I think these little hangers will work just fine. Joy has little clips that you can attach to her hangers that allows you to cascade them down on top of each other so you don't take up much horizontal space. The hangers were just 4.99 for two and you'll get a lot of ribbon on two hangers. I bought four hangers just in case. The thing I like about this is how sure I am that the ribbon won't slide off. The ribbon will stay exactly where you put it on her hangers. I don't know why I didn't think of her hangers sooner.

Pictures will be coming shortly. I get more and more excited over this hobby. A few months ago I had a bunch of "stuff" and no idea what to do with it. Now I can look at a card sketch and actually have a few ideas in my head. They used to make me nervous.

This week has been a bad week. I've been working on DH's valentine. I had one almost completed then the stamp arrived that I ordered for his card so I started over. Now I'm having to beat the clock. That's okay...I do some of my best work under pressure. I think the card will be awesome. My house might look like a tornado went through it but the card will awesome! I'm doing a very serous setting...really pretty...but the stamp is humorous. I hope it turns out like I've got it pictured in my mind.

Pictures of my sooper dooper ribbon organization coming soon!
