Copic Newbie
I took the plunge and splurged for a late christmas present for myself - I got some copic markers. My first (of many I'm sure) question is can I use Stampin' up ink to stamp with before coloring with the copics?
no! you can't use stazon either.
If you do a google search on ink pads to use with copics you'll find some great blogs that talk about and show you examples of the different inks - i did the same thing when i got my first a year ago for christmas!

Memento ink is what I and most people use with Copics. It won't bleed from the Copic ink.
If you use Staz-on or some other inks they can ruin you marker nibs . The nibs are replaceable, but why spend more money if you don't need to .

Enjoy them and there a lots of threads that explain what inks/papers seem to work best. Do a search here on SCS. Be warned...these markers are going up in price YET again at the beginning of 2012, so if you want more, I'd buy them now.
Oozak has a good selection, ships quickly, and the price is reasonable...well, given the expense of Copics, his prices are better than what most offer.
