It says to use the crease pad with certain dies....the crease pad goes on top of the cut side of the die correct or does it act like a shim and goes under. There are no directions with it or with the die.

The crease pad replaces the top acrylic cutting pad. Because it's soft, it applies less pressure on the die and allows the fold lines to be scored instead of cut.
