Default Mica Magic Pads Recall

I got this in an email from a stamp store i frequent often. I know alot of people have had problems with them so I thought this would be helpful

Recall on Clearsnap MicaMagic pads/reinkers:

The new formulation a wetter version that will stay usable
in the pad. The new wetter formula inks will give you the
same stunning MICAMAGIC effect, with slower drying
properties that may require heat setting on non-absorbent
surfaces is now available for all CLEARSNAP
customers who wish to exchange your existing MICAMAGIC
inkpads/reinkers.

Check on the ink pad back label, to the left of the bar
code, there is a "Julian Date". If that number inlcudes and
"R" or "RU" you already have a reformulated pad.

Reinkers with a "Julian Date" of 05066 or higher also
contain reformulated ink.

To receive your replacement pads/reinkers send them to:

Clearsnap sincerely regrets any inconvenience this may have
caused.

I called a couple of days ago and replacement pads are being sent out. They will include a return mailing label to send the old pads back to them.

I took mine back to the LSS I bought it from last week because it was completely dried up. The owner let me exchange it for another type of pigment pad. Hopefully she gets credit on it.
