Shimmerz!

I just have to say I'm loving Shimmerz!

I found them at www.limelightpapercrafts.com

I got angel wings and candlelight to try out. Sooo shimmery!
AND, doesn't 'cover up' the black lines you stamped!

Whew! Thanks for the info. I am glad you're happy with it because I have the Angel Wings shade due to arrive any day now. Glad to see that I made a good choice.:-D

Not like the glue pad I've been reading about!:-( Oh, well. Live and learn, I guess.

I'm glad you posted this....I am trying to make a sweet shimmery flower for my new baby niece and I have the opal Shimmerz....but they don't seem very shimmery. :( Do you just paint them on, or do you have to do something else to them to make them purty? :)

I'm using a dry paintbrush, not sure if that's 'correct' but it's workin' for me!

Yeah, I got 'the essential glue pad' a while back at Archiver's.
Not using it like I thought I would and it wasn't cheap!

I use my AquaPainter...and it works BEAUTIFULLY!!

I have more of these on order because we ran out of Angel Wings and a few others...and I ordered Opal. I will try the Opal when it arrives and see what the results are.... The ones I've tried are super shimmery and pretty!

Thanks, Mandy! I put on a few coats and got it to sparkle. I think it's just the color....which means I may need to get some other colors and give them a test drive :) I'm posting the card I used them for on my blog....imagine the flower is very opal-sparkly :)

Difference between shimmerz and Twinkling H2O's??

Hi Ladies,

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was considering getting either shimmerz or twinkling H2O's for my friend for her birthday, but am not sure what the difference between the two are. From what I understand they seem like they are pretty much the same? Does anyone have any input?

Thanks, Stacey

I think with H2O's you need to use water and Shimmerz you can use right out of the pot - all you need is a paint brush/aquapainter of some kind. I love mine - they are beautiful!!
