Default I got one today too!

I got one today too. I had a 50% off coupon at Michael's! I've been waiting forever to get one. I got two embossing folders the snowflakes and mesh.

So fun. I wonder how I lived so long without it.

I had one and got one as a gift yesterday. I live in SE Michigan too, could have given you one...LOL! I'll return one and get some folders and die cuts.

I know you will enjoy it and be sure to check out this thread so you know what to stack to use other companies embossing plates and die cuts.

I used a Fiskars spider web plate with mine today and it works great and you can get 6 plates/12 designs for about 12.00 (before coupon discount) at some Joann's stores.

Man, I am so jealous of you guys. We are stationed overseas and I yet have to find a company that values coupons online to get the cuttlebug for a decent price. I usually buy stuff online at Joann's but they will not take the coupons and they make me mad.

I was there today and didn't buy it because it was made by Cricut and I thought they would give me a lot of flack! I just might have to go back tomorrow.

I love my bug! I still can't figure out how to use my fiskars plates in it thoug.... I guess you need a wizard tan pad and I don't have one of those... I would KILL (in a good way) to be able to use my fiskars plates in my bug!

Just a thought, but is there anyone in the states that could get it w/the coupon for you and mail it to you? Not sure what the shipping would be, but I'm guessing it's probably less than what you'd save w/the coupon.

I took this from my last upload using it:

-The web background embossing is done with a Fiskars plate and Cuttlebug. I mist the cardstock first, hold it in place on the template with reusable tape (blue painters tape) then layer on the Cuttlebug - the A plate, one B, two rubber plumbers gaskets found at a hardware store and cardstock layers until its thick enough. In this case it was one very thin piece since I was using Stampin Up cardstock for the card.

Plumber gasket is about a 6" sqaure of rubber and it cut it down just a little. If it has an oily film on it just wash it good before using it on the bug.

I had it mailed to me from Hawaii to Michigan with a stack of paper and one magazine and the cost was 32.00, overseas postage would be very costly.

The person in Hawaii should have asked me first! ;)
