Question Fluid Chalk Ink users.....

Where do you buy yours? LSS, online? Do you buy the cat eye's or the full size pad? I'd like some user opinions - Thank you so much!

I have a few full sized and a few cats eyes and I just bought a queue in primary colors (the ones that are stacked). I've bought them at ACMoore (used a 50% off coupon on the queue one) and ATRS ...

I would look on the clearsnap website http://www.clearsnap.com/ to look at all the different options and colors. It's hard to choose!! The petal points or queues would give you a good variety of colors to start - use a coupon !

I LOVE my Color Box Fluid Chalk!! I have several cat eyes and a queue. These I bought at AC Moore and a LSS in Huntsville, AL. Michaels also carries the queues. I ordered a lot of the reinkers from www.stampandgo.com as well as EZ Mount. (my Michaels doesn't carry reinkers of any kind!) All this- thanks to JulieHHR .. she knows her stuff.. and is quite an ENABLER!!! LOL
The ink is great. It makes just a little bit more muted line. If you're looking for a very sharp, crisp line, you may want to try other options.

I prefer the Cat Eye's. The full size pads have a different foam pad that I am not a fan of. It's more dense and I can't get it to ink as evenly.

I buy my Cat Eye's at http://www.cornishheritagefarms.com/...p/cPath/25_323

I have been sticking to the cat's eye size of chalk inkpads to get the most variety for the least cashola. I have a handful of singles, but the next purchase I make will be a Queue with a pack of matching paper from Cornish Heritage Farms. I love that they went to the trouble of matching quality cardstock colours to the Queue colour stacks!

I prefer the full size ink pads over the cat's eyes or other smaller options available. I use mine all the time and I think they work better for me. One thing I do suggest if you are planning on buying them and plan to use them a lot is to also buy the reinker - I find I need to reink mine often esp those I use a lot. Of course it depends how often you will be using them and what you using them for. For me I use them for just about everything - stamping, direct to paper etc - it would be using them for dtp why I need to reink so much.
