I know there are websites out there that have other ink pad storage systems and ribbon organizers. I would love some links to those sites and to know what one you use, which is your favorite and why. I have the su ink pad holder and love it but its totally full! I would rather get one that can hold all of my pads than 2 seperate ones! Also how do you store your ribbon? I have the su ribbon oragnizers but again full! and I dont know if they are the best option out there!
For Ink pad storage I use what my dad makes and sales http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...9724&rd=1&rd=1 If you need one bigger just ask! He made me one that will hold 90 ink pad, reinkers and markers. I love how all of it fits in the one space. As for ribbon holders I have yet to get him to make one for me.

I like craft locker. I currently am using one ink pad and marker locker and three accessory lockers. Love them! I'm not a big ribbon person, but craft locker makes a good ribbon storage unit also.
For my ink pad storage my hubby built me a turn about that will hold 60 pads. For my loose ribbon my friend mary jo Got potato salad contaniers from the deli and cut a x in the top and stuffed all the same color ribbon in a cont. it works great.;)
For ribbon storage, I use a two layer Snapware container (about to be expanded to 3 levels!) I just uploaded photos of the container closed and of the top layer to give you an idea of how it "works!" I plan to add the third layer for my ribbon not on reels, but in baggies... The third layer will utilize the dividers provided with the containers to separate the similar colors.
My friend gave me a wooden cassette tape holder that held 100 tapes. it holds my old SU ink pads and brilliance and stazon pads, but for the newer larger SU pads it doesn't work. that's ok, because I have 100 ink pads that do work in it. LOL!
For ribbon, I have a bunch, because I used to have a floral shop. I screwed plastic house guttering to my craft room walls and the big or large rolls sit in it real nice. I also use a pretty paper covered suitcase I bought at JoAnn's around Thanksgiving to store my teeny tiny narrow ribbon rolls. I have 83 different colors of 1/4" grosgrain ribbons that fir in the suitcase nicely, as a whole collection. Thinking about doing the same with my narrow organza ribbons. the suitcases look classy on my shelves and being stored out of direct light, they will last till I use them up without fading or getting dirty.
Some people buy an over-the-door type wire rack that is meant for books or VCR tapes, and lay a piece of cardboard on the bottom (cut to size, so the ribbon rolls don't fall through) and store their ribbon rolls like that.
I just bought an ink storage at mycraftsolutions.com I love it, they have several options that include ribbon storage as well. For my ribbon I have a box with grommetts in the side that the ribbon glides out of. I think I saw some of these ribbon boxes on this site.
As for ribbon . . . I've been doing a "Get Organized" week on my blog this week, so check it out (link below)! Yesterday I showed all the ways I organize my ribbon!
Hello! I FINALLY found a system that I love and works for me. I had the "turn around" style ink pad holders but have recently changed to two cassette tape holders that hold 100 stamp pads each.
For ribbon, I mounted wire racks on the wall in back of my door, put a curtain rod up with sheer curtains that go around and cover all the ribbon on the shelves. I ran out of room so I also bought a DVD rack from WalMart that has glass doors for more of my ribbon.
