Default eyelets/snaps help!

Okay i bought these beautiful christmas eyelets (or what i thought were eyelets) from AC Moore. However they are called "snaps" and i have no idea how to set them,(i already designed a whole layout around them) they are to tough for the eyelet setter from my su set. any ideas?:confused:

Normally, one would use them exactly the same as an eyelet. Perhaps the table you are using to set them is not sturdy enough. Try hammering them on a sturdier surface and give the hammer a good 5-6 whacks.

I use the Crop-a-dile setter to set snaps and eyelits...but I guess that really doesn't help you out. I could possibly marry this Crop-a-dile - it sets just about anything, no hammering, just squeeze! Love it! I wish I could lend you mine!

Maybe the thing that you are putting into the snap (not sure of what that would be called (not the hammer part, but the part that you hammer) is not quite big enough...just a thought.

huh, i do think i have a larger setter (i think thats what you call the part you put in the eyelet) i will give it a go! you have my interest with this other tool you speak of.....thanks for your input!
