Tsukineko makes a glue pad that I have heard good things about... but I have not tried it yet. If I ever get around to it, I plan to use it to stamp an image in glue and apply UF glitter (like for my holiday cards)...

I'd have to go with the Essential (http://www.tsukineko.com/store/cart....duct_list&c=69) because it doesn't require heat. Use? Well, anytime you'd use stamp & stick powder, glitter/pearl ex/fun flock/leafing.... Just another option I guess - but I'm S&S powder challenged!

I agree with the Essential. I got the Palette one, the only one I'd seen at the big box craft stores, and it was worthless.

I like my essential too, especially since it also has a re gluer( is that a word? ) and I can keep it tacky.

I bought the Palette glue pad and it will work, but you have to be oh so careful not to overheat. I rarely use it and the same with my heat n' stick powder.

I love the Essential too. I use it for glitter, flocking, even chalking!

Love it.

I guess I'm the odd girl out but I don't like using the Essentials much....especially with flocking.

You don't get a nice thick even image like you do with you use other adhesives (I like my glue pen).

I like the Palette pad...although I don't use it for glitter. Here's an example when the glue is used with polymer clay.
