Question Copic markers

What type of Copic markers do people use to color their cards? I just did a search on Dick Blick and there are several different kinds...sketch, ciao, original - to name a few.

Thanks!

Hi Donna, I'm waiting for my Ciao's in the mail. From what I understand they are pretty much the same ink, just the marker size is different. The Ciao's are a little smaller in circumference so easier to handle I think. I ordered all 4 color sets (144 markers) from My Favorite Things and yes......I'm stalking the mailman!

I use the Sketch. The ink is the same in the others, but I prefer using the brush end of the Sketch marker.

Sketch & Ciao both have the brush & medium broad tips, are refillable and use the same ink. The Ciao's are round barrels & the Sketch are an oblong shaped barrel. Supposedly the Sketch's will fit in Copic's airbrush system. Sketch is available in a wider range of colors.

I chose sketch because I could buy indvidual markers and space out my purchase/investment. But a lot of people choose Ciao's because they're lower cost.
