I am in big trouble now ;0). A couple of friends are coming over for me to 'teach' them how to make Christmas cards. Needless to say, I'm not too creative, I used to go to a card making class to help me with this but they are no longer offered. So long story short, are there any online stores/websites where they offer classes and materials? I have trouble putting things together that look professional and beautiful  I still have a few tools on hand, but I think what I lack the most is those beautiful designer papers! Thanks for any suggestions you can provide! I'm trying to come back to card making.

My mom and my son think I'm very creative, but they've not compared my cards to those in the SCS gallery. My guess is that if your friends want YOU to teach them how to make Christmas cards, THEY believe YOU ARE CREATIVE! And I am sure that whatever you come up with will thrill them.
Finally, show them different techniques using whatever supplies and tools you still have. Techniques might include dry embossing, heat embossing, stamping, punching, die cutting, using an ATG gun, etc. Dig out your tools and all your Christmas stamps and then encourage them to play.
Thank you! these are indeed really cute designs and really like them! We are trying to make between 10-20 cards, so I'll have to check if this kit will fit the bill ;0), perhaps I may just need to add more paper and get additional stamps? I love the way the coordinate the colors!
You're so sweet! Thank you for the encouragement! Those samples will certainly give me a good start since I'm trying to come up with at least 5 different designs.
I like the idea of making a tag using heat embossing. Before I got into card making, I remember always wondering how to get the effect when I saw a little tag stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder. This technique is always thrilling for people to try for the first time and are usually amazed by the beauty of it.
