Wink Pretties Kit from SU!

Ok Ladies -- I know that some orders have had to arrive by now so I want to know - has anyone purchased the pretties kit and what's it like...

What I am most curious about is if anyone has tried to dye the flowers yet -- specifically with SU watercolor crayons.

thanks!

I saw a card the other day that the person said the colored it with reinkers and a watercolor brush. It was very pretty.

Thumbs up

I have it and love the kit. It is sooo pretty! I have dyed the flower, well one, but I used my ink pad. I just pressed it to the pad and it just absorbed the color beautifully. I need to go try it with the wcc. The only problem I had was gluing the flower to my card. I don't know if it was because it was still wet, but it wouldn't stick with a glue dot. I guess I need to play around with it and maybe use cyrstal effects. I know a brad will work, but I don't always want to add one of those, kwim. Overall, I am really in love with the pretties kit!

Hi,

Yes! I watercolored one yesterday at a techniques workshop my demo had on watercolor crayons. We drew a line down the middle of each petal and then use an aqua painter. They turned out beautifully!
