Pleased...and disappointed
I tried out my little Xyron "X" this weekend, using it for tiny embellies...and was really happy with it. I'm a bit concerned about waste on the tape cartridge, but it's worth it to me to not have to worry about messes with glue! I'm a happy camper...er...stamper about that...
But I have to say that I'm very disappointed in the performance of my new Corner Chomper. While I was able to use a 40% discount coupon on it at my LSS, it does no better than my little Marvy corner rounder...I'm STILL having to sand the edges on every cut to even them out...for the price, I was hoping for much better rounding performance!!! :( |
HAHA! I always think the same way when I use my "X" !
It saves so much trouble though. I have been wondering about the chomper, maybe I will hold off |
I too find my little Xyron very handy for small embellishments. In order to eliminate the waste on the carttridge, I use my tweezers and place them really close to each other.

I think the x is worth every penny and the refills are cheap enough that I do not mind the waste, your time is valuable too!

Chomper
If I were you, I'd return the corner rounder. After all, they are not cheap. I think you got a lemon. Your store should stand behind it.

I agree - return your corner rounder. If you can't, try sharpening it with a pop can. HTH

with my X I dont use the X I just use the refill I have got to cut it with scisors. but it saves a good bit.

Count me in as one who doesn't use the X but just uses the refill. Less waste and I am all about not wasting things. :)

For my X I use a tweezers to place the lil embellies in as close as I can to avoid alot of waste especially if i am doing several.
