I have something similar to the AP positioner. I hate it. The sides aren't tall enough for you to be able to position the stamp correctly. I have the SAMJ and LOVE it. It is tall enough for you to fit your stamp correctly and just slide it down onto your paper. Plus as NwP says, there is a non-skid material on the bottom that keeps the SAMJ from sliding. Plus the fact that you can make additional sheets to go with the SAMJ out of stencil plastic or other thin see-through material (especially if you have images you use a lot) makes this choice a no-brainer in my book. (I just watched the video on YouTube, and where she says you don't want to use permanent ink, is exactly one of the reasons I love the SAMJ. You can use permanent ink on extra sheets you can cut for the SAMJ - this works especially well for sentiments. Stamp with Stazon or other permanent ink, save it. Then you can use your stamped sheet to place your sentiment any where you want it, without having to stamp it every time you want to use it.)
Can you tell I'm partial to the SAMJ???
