Question photo printer for a MAC?

Can anyone recommend a good compact photo printer that will work well with a MAC?
Thanks!

I love my Canon - I think they are the best for printing photos. I have a PC, but I would think it is compatible with a MAC. My advice - bring your memory card with you when you shop, and make them print a photo for you - choose the same phot on all so you can compare. Buy the one you like the best.

When you say compact, do you mean the little portable printers that just print 4x6 photos? I have a Kodak one that I love. You can use it with or without your computer. Without the computer, you just stick in your memory card/stick and it has a screen that shows you all the photos. Or you can hook it up to the computer and prints photos from it. It can print 4x6 and wallet size prints. I believe mine is the Kodak Photo Printer 500. I have a Mac and it works perfectly with it. HTH

Thanks for all the input

I asked because when researching printers online a lot of people complain about not being able to get correct drivers for their MACs so they are unable to get accurate colors or truly borderless photos.

I was thinking of getting a compact printer to spit out 4x6 photos, but I think I will just wind up getting them printed at Target- I live in an urban area so it's plenty convenient and is cheaper per photo than purchasing a new printer and supplies etc. I don't really do much with the photos I take, which is why I want to scrap them- otherwise they'll just live in chaos on my computer Thus the convenience of a printer at home is not worth it, at least not now. When we succeed in moving out of the city and into the boonies, well then maybe I'll have to get my own printer!

I have a Mac, and I use an Epson PictureMate. Works fine, and it's great because I don't have to have it plugged into my computer all the time. It also prints great pictures.

Hmmm, I borrowed an Epson PictureMate from a friend but could not get it to print borderless- can you? I bought paper, so theoretically I could borrow it again.

We have only Mac (as should the rest of the world!) and we really like our HP all-in-one. I have been using it for photos and I like them much better than the ones I had printed at Target.
