Question Photo Corner Punch??

When you make a card with the little photo corners, do most of you just purchase the precut little "corners", or do you have a punch that punches them out? I'm not talking about the slots that you put in the corner of a card to fit a photo under. I'm actually talking about the little triangle pieces of paper (photo corners).

I looked all over today (Michael's and Joann's) to try and find a punch or diecut that would make some for me, but nobody had any. All they had was the little precut corners in packages of 50 and up.

I know SU makes a photo corner punch, but do any of you know where I might purchase either a punch or diecut locally? Or do you all just purchase the precut corners? I'd rather not have to place an order just for one punch.

I feel like I'm in the dark on this one, but see a lot of cards out lately that use them.....they are cute!!!

Thanks,

Sandy

I have the SU one and use that frequently, but you can also make photo corners with two square punches. You can see Nichole Heady do a tutorial on it here: http://nicholeheady.typepad.com/capt...2008/01/2.html

Thanks for sharing this! Bummer for me that I don't have any square punches, but I do have a Coluzzle coming soon, so maybe that would work too!

I have scallop sqaure Punch, That I have been using to created my own photo corners with.

Here are a couple of examples of what they look like on a card:

Stylish Birds

&

Spring Bath Time

I thought it would look neat to have something other than a Straight edge Photo corner.

I saw this earlier, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out how that would work. Does anybody own this? Does it fold in the middle, or does it cut out two corners, or what? I feel silly, but it is not "clicking".

I have it and have used it some, not as much as I thought. (I do that with a lot of things, unfortunately. )

It cuts out two corners at once. The top one in the photo folds and makes a "border" like photo corner. The bottom one also folds and makes a "triangle" one. Hope that makes it clearer for you.

Thanks! Now I get it. I'll have to check my local J's and M's to see if they have them in stock. I didn't see any Sizzix ones today, or any punches for that matter. Maybe they have to be ordered online. I HATE shipping!

Did you find this at a local store, or did you have to order online? I looked yesterday, but couldn't find it anywhere locally.

Thanks!

I have SU photo corner punch but I didn't know Cuttlebug made a photo corner die. That would have been a cheaper way to go.

Hi Sandy - I'm in the UK so it's possible my reply will not help you much LOL! - I did get my Sizzlit Photo Corner die at my LSS. Sorry, I'm not sure where you'd get one if you're in the US.

The Paper Studio and EK Success (Whale of a Punch) also make photo-corner punches. I've seen both at Hobby Lobby. ~Lynn~
