Peppermint Patties

Has anyone found another "round" candy that could subsitute for the peppermint patties? I would love to make some with a candy that is more appealing to kids. Thanks for any tips!

What about Gold Coins ... the round pieces of chocolate that are wrapped in gold foil. They are much thinner than Peppermint Patties, but would probably work just as well.

Do you have a link to what you are making so I have a better visual picture? Would a lollipop work? Kids love them and they are the same general shape. Not sure about the stick though depending on what you're making.

lollipops are a good idea, I'm thinking chocolate would be good too if anyone can think of something :)

Doesn't Palmer make a bag of chocolate discs wrapped in Holiday foil? I am sure I saw some at Walmart in the holiday candy aisle.:p

I saw the gold and silver coins in Meijer just the other day.
You can buy them by the pound and such.

Those are so cute. I don't know how I missed those. They have candy discs that are made with chocolate and have rice crispies in them around Christmas. I don't know what company makes them, but I have seen them at CVS and Target. HTH.
