Talking Best place to buy turquoise blue cardstock

Hi all.. I want to make some wedding favor boxes for hershey kisses; etc.. using the Cricut cartridge Tags, bags, boxes and more.. for next month.. looking for true turquoise color cardstock for these.... good price and good quality with fast shipping.. also.. any suggestions on what style of box, or bag would work best for this..I am leaning toward the heart box or flower box....colors in the wedding are turquoise and yellow..any ideas or help would be so appreciated..? Also, any example pics..would be great..TIA...

oops..forgot to ask as well.. this is my first attempt w/ boxes or bags..what would be a good size to do? with that question being asked.. what size paper works best for that size box w/ out wasting too much cardstock..the 12" x 12" or the 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock? I am making 200 of them.. urghhhhhhhhh!!!! Thanks again..

I have not played with that cartridge much, but when I did I found it cut much smaller than I would have liked. Considering you are just hoping to put some kisses in there, 12x12 should work well for you.

My suggestion is to play with some scrap patterned paper you don't really like anymore (LOL...is that an oxymoron??!!). That way you can see exactly how it will cut at a given dimension and go from there.

Incidentally, this cart is the reason I got the 12x24 mats. I just did not like how small the boxes were on the 12x12 mat. But it has been a long time since I played with it.

Good luck!

GinaK Designs has:

Turquoise Sea (http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/pro...&categoryId=68)

Ocean Mist, a couple shades lighter (http://www.shop.ginakdesigns.com/pro...&categoryId=68).

They are heavy base weight and GinaK has SUPER fast shipping.

I have heard so many good things about Gina K. I have mostly SU cardstock but I am getting ready to order some from Gina K. I have never heard one negative so that speaks volumes to me.

Papertrey Ink just recently released Hawaiian Shores -- it is gorgeous! They sell 50 sheets for $9 (or 24 for $5). Their quality is superb - I use their cardstock to make boxes all the time.

I would vote for the Hawaiian Shores (PTI) or any of the Gina K papers...they are so yummy...and the prices are good too!
