Default Glue

What does everyone use to glue designer paper to cardstock so that it sticks right to the edge and doesn't have any lumps in it?

TIA

I use my ATG gun if it's something large with straight edges (before I bought my ATG, I used an AdTech tape runner). I'm getting pretty good at getting it right to the very edge of the paper. ;) If it's something smaller, I use those blue glue pens. I gave up on glue sticks a long time ago.

I use Tombow Mono Multi liquid in the green and white bottle.

There is a little learning curve to using it. You need to apply a very thin line all around, about 1/4" from the edge. Then a few squiggles in the middle.

You have a second or two to slightly adjust the paper, if you get it crooked.

I use it for all my cards. It doesn't make lumps or dry wrinkled.

Big pieces = ATG
Tiny pieces = Tombo Mono Multi

ATG for most everything. Tiny stuff, Zig two way glue.

I use Scrapbook Adhesives EZ Runner or Scor-Tape. For pieces that are detailed, I run them through one of my Xyron's.

Tombow Mono Multi for everything except ribbon. Then I use red line tape (don't know the exact name)

I apply it the same way "buggainok" does and love it because like she says, there is a bit of time to adjust your paper by sliding it around.......

I like my ATG but Tombow is the winner all around. I use it for all paper. Not only does it not clump, it won't warp the paper and a little bit goes a long way. And a perk I discovered not too long ago -- it works great to recharge the stickiness of the carrier sheets for my Silhouette. I use a squeegee to get a thin layer, let it dry then use a layer of freezer paper to keep the sheets lint and dust free.

I have mostly used plain old rubber cement. If you coat each piece and let them dry, they will stick together forever!

Zip Dry paper glue by Beacon. I was a total Tombow Multi Mono girl until I discovered the Zip Dry (thanks, someone here at SCS). You put it on in a tiny thin line, it will not wrinkle or warp the paper, even if the paper is as thin and flimsy as copy paper. Also, if some sneaks out from under the edge of the paper, you just let it dry and it comes right off with an adhesive eraser. And a huge plus - the bottle is clear so it's easy to see when you're running low. Keeps you from running out in the middle of a late night crafty session.

SU! SNAIL for big items, Xyron for small. I get clumps with glue--not patient enough, I guess.
