It is indeed a Tim Holtz Bigz die, if you scroll slightly down the page on this link, you'll see it.

My guess is it is cut file rather than a die.

I don't think it is the Tim Holtz die. The heels, shape of the boot and blades are slightly different.

Having had a closer look, you are right, its not exactly the same, is it? The top of the boot shape is different too.

I was thinking it could be a cut file too, I looked through the silhouette online store and didn't find it. Are there any other sites I could search to try to find this?

I can read some Dutch. I had to dig to find the skate post on her site. She didn't write a description where she got the skates. Here's the post- 'CARDS AND THINGS': schaatsen

Essentially it says- She made the skates & they were fun to make.

In the blog comments if I am reading correctly somebody did ask her where she got the skates and she posted this link- Welkom bij Your Zoap | Your Zoap

I checked the site and there are chipboard pieces in the store. I didn't find skates. I didn't look through the whole store either. Hope that helps.

I know somebody will ask. I can read Dutch because I taught myself so I could do PaintShop Pro tutorials. Dutch web translations were horrible back then. Dutch Paint Shop Pro artists had the best tutorials. I wanted to do the tutorials.

Maybe e-mail her, or leave a comment on a post asking about the file? Most bloggers are happy to share info, usually.

Thank you everyone! DeeAnn I went on the site you listed and found that it is a chipboard piece. Here is the link if anyone is interested. Houten Schaatsen Groot | Hout artikelen | Your Zoap

I know you did what you needed to do as you wanted to follow tutorials but in my experience most Dutch peope speak excellent English so for others - if there's something you'd like to know about a blog post, it's always worth leaving a comment as it may well be both understood and answered.

Glad you managed to identify it, Terri!

I use to write tutorials. I know how hard and time consuming it is to write a tutorial. Tutorials on graphic programs were difficult and lengthy to write. I would feel uncomfortable posting a question or even asking if a Dutch tutorial writer could translate it to English. Even more so in those days tutorials were not written as blog posts. That is why I chose to just pick up several language books and learn the language myself. I thought it was a plus. I am quite proud of myself for learning a beautiful language.

I was very blessed to have two friends from the Netherlands on two of my PaintShop Pro groups. They were always willing to answer my questions and help me translate.

Yes absolutely, that's what I meant - asking for something like a tutorial to be translated wouldn't be reasonable which is why I understood you to have learned the language (definitely a laudable thing to do!) and directed my comment to others who might have a question about something like supplies used in a project on a blog post.

Actually, I'd encourage leaving a comment if you enjoy a project on a blog that's not written in English as a lot of people will understand the comment, even if they're not able to respond to it and everyone loves to get comments and feel their work is appreciated!
