OK to use brass stencils in bug?
 
Does this work? Will it mess anything up? Thanks for any tips!!

Yes, you can use your brass stencils in a cuttlebug. You will need to get an extra cushion pad to use with the orginal plates. Check out Stamping Details at www.stampingdetails.com as that is were I got mine. Let me know if you have any questions.

I use my brass stencils all the time
 
and came up with a process that leaves a really deep embossed image.

Here is the link to the tutorial on my blog, there is a video as well, but the embossed images do not show up as well.

The stencils get a bit curved when they go through the cuttlebug, I just turn them around the next time I use them to flatten them back out.

Wow SanJoseLady! I loved your photos of the exact stuff I need to buy. I feel so prepared to go to the plumbing asile now. Funny commentary - check her out! Very funny girl you are :) :) Your embossing with stencils and the Fiskars plates gives me new hope for my seldom used stencils and Fiskars plates. Hallelujah!!!!
