I ordered an ATG 714 from GlueBug on Tuesday, got an email on Wednesday saying they were out of stock and they would ship it next week, then got an email yesterday saying they had shipped it, and I got it TODAY! Wow that was fast. I can't wait to play!

Got mine too. Took a bit of trial and error to get it loaded. Follow the use directions EXACTLY. Took me a few tries to remember to pull up and not out at the end of the strip. Don't glue anything you don't want stuck forever. This is heavy duty stuff!!!
just follow the arrows on the wheel when you load it....makes it fool proof if you follow that way...I have had mine for over a year and I've been known to try to put the roll on the wrong direction...
just remember that the tape should unroll from the bottom (like toilet paper *g* ) then it just goes over under and over the top. Also make sure you weave the end into the rec'g wheel...and it won't work properly if you don't put the wheel guard on.....
if you have any questions there are a ton of us that use it here...so ask away!!
Mine came from Gluebug today too! I hope I can get away to try it out! I desperately wanted it last night when my last big of runner-tape adhesive ran out!
I had mine since last November, still sitting forlornly in its box in a drawer. I didn't get to stamp very much until very recently. Well... I signed up for a Bella swap which is the most cards I've ever had to make at once! Then I remembered my ATG 714 down in that drawer, got it out, loaded it up, and wowzer!!! I LOVE that thing! I had lots of layers and would never have gotten all those cards done without it. I got my swaps in the mail yesterday, but the ATG is getting a permanent place on my work table. I feel like a real stamper now!
I got one for my birthday last month. It was a lot bigger than I expected, but it's really, really, really cool!!

You *know* you're supposed to tell me when you buy stuff! I just got mine last week. ;-) I like it, but I'm having kind of a difficult time loving it more than Scotch Quick Dry.

I knew you'd be stalking me!! Are we going to be starting a monster-sized ATG thread just like we did for the Cuttlebug?
Can someone please convince me why I "need" one of these? Is it really that cost effective in the long run?
Check out this thread. There are a few posts that get pretty specific on the cost effectiveness. It's the original thread I read that convinced me I *needed* an atg. Oh, and my post above...should have said 'bit', not 'big.' Ooops!
I started another thread a couple of days ago asking about an alternative tape that is quite a bit cheaper that works in the ATG gun. Anyone had experience using tapes besides the Scotch in your ATG. I am sure loving that gun!!
