Smile Searching for a paper bead die

I saw a paper bead die demonstrated online from one of the die companies within the last few months. Now I can't find it. Have searched thru google. This was a die with rows of long pennants side by side, so you could cut several at once and roll into paper beads. I searched the main companies you see on splitcoast, but could not find it with any of them. There are so many companies making the thin dies now, I can't remember all of them. I know you can just cut your own pennants from paper but would like to have the die if possible.
thank you
Vicki

I think the one I saw was PTI. I've heard a lot of bad reviews of PTI. I cut my beads by hand. If you have an electronic cutter here's a cut file: Creative Reflections: Paper Bead Free SVG & MTC File

I took a class once where the teacher had us cut a strip of 12 x 12 paper the width we wanted the bead. We made another cut diagonally from one corner to the the opposite corner. We then put glue on the strips and rolled the strips around bamboo skewers.

Its pretty quick work if you have a rotary cutter and a quilting ruler too.

I checked Papertrey and did not find it. They were my first thought when I looked for it. If they had it it must be discontinued. I have ordered from them with no trouble, but am also a little leery right now.
I have made the ones you cut yourself in the past, but just thought the die would be neat.

Papertrey Ink's bead die will, I believe, be available for sale this month. It was previously available only if you bought their Stamp-a-Faire bag/kit, but the paper and die are supposed to be for sale this month.

Lots of negative comments around about PTI, but many people have not had any problems, or any trouble getting their issues resolved. Your choice on whether to order from them.

So far, PTI has not discontinued any of its own stamps or dies.

From what Moodyblue says, that is probably where I saw it. I know they had a stamp set that was only for Stamp Affair that I really would have liked to have. Maybe the die will be available later and maybe stamp too. I will have to think about weather
I will order.
Thanks

Hi Vicki!
I too am looking for a paper bead die. I do have the one that PTI made September 2012...It is called It will retail for $10.
Beautiful Beads and the die measures 3-1/8" x 5-5/8" (creates six triangles measuring 3/4" x 5-5/8").
I was looking for one that made longer strips. These are too short for what I was looking for.
Hope this helps you if you are still looking for one.
Valerie
