Default Versamark Pen

I just got this in my most recent order, and now I'm on brain freeze as how to use it. Does anyone have examples or ideas for me?? I searched through the gallery, but I'm just getting Versamark. I have the pad and love it - but I'm struggling with how to use the pen where the pad won't do the job.

Thanks for your ideas!!

I use it to color in just the petals on a flower then emboss with clear embossing powder. Hope that helps~ here's another thread about the versa mark marker

On this card I used it to draw the stems of the flowers

I use my versamark pen for highlighting my embossing (like what I use after I use my cuttlebug)

Like Here I used it to highlight the pumpkins.

A search for "versamarker" might give you the results you are looking for.

I did a review of this for Craft Critique:
http://www.craftcritique.com/2008/09...arker-pen.html

I use it to highlight certain areas of a design. It really makes embossed vellum pop & shine. Plus you can freehand shapes to emboss.

Check out Michelle Zindorf's blog - she uses it ALOT.

You can write & emboss your signature on the back of cards, repair spots on cards that didn't get embossed properly, selectively apply versamark to certain portions of a stamp, etc. Very handy tool!

The tips of my Versamark pens become fuzzy!! I'm I using too much pressure or is this normal?

UGH! I tried using it this morning on the Home for the Holidays set. I embossed the stamp with black EP, then went over the little tree on the left and the steps with the pen and white EP. It did NOT turn out well - wahhh! The white covered the black - I didn't think it would do that. Ah well, I'll keep playing around w/ it!!

I used the Versamark pen to add embossed "garland" to SU's Snow Swirled Christmas tree (I'd post it but I'm demo'ing it Saturday and some of my customers have a tendancy to search me out on here).

CRials - have you thought about perhaps taking your Snips and trimming up the point yourself? I've done that a time or two with my SU markers and it works great. Just realize a little goes a very long way.

Thanks for the input---I think I'll try trimming. It isn't working well like it is, so I don't think I'd lose anything if I ruin it!!!
