I store all my other nesties in CD cases but what do I do w/ my long rectangles? I thought about a dvd case but they are all in use.... Any other ideas? Thanks!

My long rectangles showed up in the mail today and, like you, I was wondering how to store them. I am contemplating putting them in an empty clear cover that came off a month-by-month calendar. It has two lengthwise pockets that the cover of the calendar slipped into, and I think I could put a magnet sheet in each to hold the nesties. It will only hold the plain or the scalloped, so it would take two of these for the complete set.
Thank you for posting on the long rectangles. I have a quick question, what's the SKU# for the these? I have 2 sets of the rectangle nestabilities and want the long ones but can't figure out which ones they are on the Spellbinders website.
I guess I'll need help on how to store mine when I purchase them. Thanks for the help.

I just pulled my packaging out of the wastebasket and this is what I found on the UPC code box area: Nest -007 Nestibilities Long Classic Rectangles and below bars are the following numbers: 8 7921600906 6
Those are the only identifying numbers I found on the packaging for the long rec nesties - hope this helps!
Mine came in on Saturday* and today I finally was able to get to them. I also have my other Spellbinder dies in CD cases, so I decided to store the long rectangles the same way I store my QK cookie cutter dies. I covered chipboard with sheet magnet, cut them in half horizontally, printed the set name on each half magnet sheet with white pen, and then placed each set on a separate half. I slipped the four half sheets (they actually could be two full sheets containing two sets each) in a page protector (also labeled) and placed them in a hanging file. Since all my alphabet dies are stored this way, it is a natural place to look for oversized dies. (I also store all my rubber stamps the same way, using printed and laminated chipboard instead of magnets).
*Why is it that dies that you have had on backorder for months manage to arrive the same day as two other recently placed orders from another vendor, and on a Saturday when there is no way to slip them quietly into the scrap room??? To top it off, the mail carrier missed one of the packages and returned to ring the doorbell a second time to make sure that EVERYONE in the house was alerted to the receipt of the aforementioned packages!!! Pat

You crack me up. I HATE when a package comes on Saturday. During the week the mail comes before DH comes home from work. He has no idea what is going on here. And that's the way it should be!

I store my long rectangles in one of the QK magnetic folders - nice and neat! Room for more nestabilities too! If you look around you can find these for under the listed MSRP, or at Hobby Lobby with a coupon.
I store all my nesties in a clear plastic food container (Rubbermaid?) slightly larger than the original nesties' packaging. I attach a strip of magnetic tape to the original cardboard that they came on, and keep all my sets together. Easy to find, easy to sort, and easy to grab for a crop.
I use the Quickutz Magnetic Folders! I LOVE them....I have one for each full set of Nesties, they would fit more but I like to keep them separate. The scallops (L & S) on one side and the plains on the other. I don't have the long rectangles yet, but according to the measurements this will work great for them too! http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m...p/IMG_0259.jpg

I buy them on Ebay...there is a seller who has them for $9.95 plus $5 shipping...that's the cheapest I have found! She has black or white...and for the most part, she has shipped really quick!

This is great!!!! I will have to check them out, never heard of these before. I also just got my rectangles yesterday and got my circles on Saturday which took over 2 months to come!!!!
I just bought 2 of them today to try out & if it works well for me & I really like this then I will buy more for all the nesties that I have now & for future ones that I have yet to buy. Thanks Cher for this fab idea!

You're welcome...and I think you will love them!

A while back, beate posted on her blog that she stores all of her nestibilities in a CD wallet. I really liked that idea as the CD cases that I had were getting out of hand (too many and too bulky) and the long rectangles didn't fit in them. Since I'm very OCD about having things together this double wallet was perfect and only cost $12.00 from Office Depot. The other great thing about this wallet is that is can hold up to 50 sets in a very compact space and I can have all my dies set right in front of me and I can flip to any die set. No more fussing with all those CD cases.
I have a wooden drawer unit from Ikea by the side of my desk. I've attached 2 self adhesive hooks to the unit and hang my long rectangle Nesties on the hooks, plain on one, scalloped on the other.
I love that they are within easy reach and are being stored in an otherwise wasted space - and that the storage solution was cheap!
Okay - so this is going off topic (sorry). I just went over to the Spellbinders site to check out the binders. Have you seen the Pinking Circles? I am so going to have to get those.
Back on topic - how much space to the binders take up?

Just checked out the pinked circles - wow! And did you see the curved rectangles? Those made my heart pitter-patter!
Back to your question, I would also like to know how large/big the quik cut binders are...and also if these are available at Archivers. I might get a chance to visit Archivers in the next week while I still have a 30% off coupon.
The QK binders are 8x10, so you have 16x10 storage surface.
My Archivers does not carry them, which doesn't mean that none do...I did ask last time I was there since retail is like $14.99 and when I order on Ebay I pay $14.95 with shipping...it's more of a *I'm impatient* thing.

Thanks for the measurements - I'll go check out my drawer and see if it would fit. I guess I should check out the e-bay thing, I thought the shipping was in addition to the $14.95 price.
Okay (note to self: stop drooling!), who brought up the new nesties? I am salivating. Seriously, curved rectangles! How beautiful are those. Oooh, I am in trouuuubbbblllleeeee (remember how Tootie used to say it on the Facts of Life?)....
Mmmmmm, those are way too yummy! Pump, plasma, pump!
