Default Craft Ink Help

I already have all the dye based ink and trying to think of the most economical way to get permanent ink......ink spots? They come in the craft ink version. I was wondering if any one can help me with these little ink babies. There has been discussion before about Stazon being the only Good permanent out there and wanted to know personal opinion's about the Craft Ink Spots with Stampin Up. Does the Craft ink rub off on porous surface's like tile coasters or acetate paper?

Any suggestions will help.

Thanks;) ;)

Yes. Anything non-porous you need stazon. I think craft ink will smear. (other opinions, anyone?)

Craft is good for pigment ink projects or where you want a more intense color and are willing to maybe heat gun dry it or emboss it. There are other threads about pros/cons if you type "craft ink" in the search box you may find more info. I would do it for you, but I'm in a time crunch right now.

people have varying opinions on craft v classic and all that... it mostly depends on your preference, pocketbook (what you can afford, some could only get one or the other), and what exactly you are crafting (this is where using stazon comes into play).

I have all the craft spots. That's what I started with. Then I got a good deal on sets of pads someone was getting rid of (can you imagine that???) so I picked those up too, because it was affordable for me to do so. If that hadn't happened, I'd still be managing with just the craft ink spots.

HIH!

Personally, I didn't care for the craft spots. I found that they were quite smeary even on regular cardstock. I'm fairly impatient and didn't like the thought of having to heat set. I would go with Stazon.
