Nesties Sentiments

Does anyone know if anybody out there does sentiments specifically meant to work with Nesties circles and ovals?

TIA

Sales/Promotions at WaltzingMouse?

Does waltzingmouse ever offer sales? I hate to ask because I desire to support her craftsmanship so much, but I want them all and am seeing my budget depleted before the year starts! What can I say? I want them all!

If you pop on over to Claire's blog (she's the lovely owner of Waltzingmouse Stamps), you can sign up for her brand-new newsletter. One of the things she mentioned is an upcoming competition that will offer an opportunity to win some of her stamp sets. The blog is lots of fun as well.

Santa was kind enough to bring me some of her beautiful stamps, and I'm looking forward to getting them inked up!

LOL! it's a totally valid question and i'm glad someone asked!!!

I don't forsee having sales for my stamps at present. When I started up I priced the stamps to be the best value I could do them for. My stamp sets are larger than many other sets of comparable price and I felt I had to be competitive with other companies that are already located in USA.

It's no secret that a LOT of my customers are living in America/Canada and I felt that if I priced the sets at the same rate as others might have, they would be too expensive when you take shipping into account. I had to strike a balance and I felt that lowering the price to start with meant that folks would get real value every time they ordered as opposed to once or twice a year during a sale.

The other reason I was happier to start with a low price and not have sales was the possibility that there might be folks who purchased stamps only to find that they went on sale a week later. I know from experience that if I buy something and then see it cheaper a week later, it really ticks me off.

I felt that making my stamps better value to start with would be best all round.

Having said all that, lol, there are a number of developments I'm working on that will see folks getting even better value from WMS.

I'm trying to organize the loyalty/bonus scheme, my customers are my priority and I have been hugely supported by many, many folks. I very much want to be able to reward folks who have ordered, especially folks who come back to me again and again.

I am hoping that my company will grow large enough that I will be able to qualify for postal discounts from my shipping provider, which of course I will be delighted to pass on to everyone!!

I run lots of competitions in which folks stand a chance of winning a free set or two, a recent competition involved one lucky person winning the entire contents of their shopping cart - I might do this for every release! I am going to be doing it for the January release which is previewing now on my blog!

Hope this helps folks to understand the decision, Many thanks for the opportunity to explain!

A gracious reply from a gracious lady. I certainly have some things in my cart waiting for the time my budget allows!

Thank you so much. A well-thought through strategy, not to mention, a beautiful family and a skilled artist who deserves two thumbs up for all I've read and seen. Great service, beautiful heart, and ingenuous, user-friendly, elegant products. You have my attention. Products I've been looking for to keep from acheiving the same with other product lines I don't want or need. Thanks so much!

By the way, most circle or square stamps will work with nesties stamps. The ovals are much more tricky. JustRite Stampers also sells some that are pretty much compatible. I've found a few of the ovals to be a smidge off, but if you go a size up and emboss around the edge, it's hardly discernable, and their images and borders are exchangeable and fun to color if you like coloring.

glad this posting was revived. I especially like the enchanted gallery that
reminds how to use the stamps we already have
