Default Anyone heard of the X-Acto Laser Trimmer...

...I received an email from Aaron Brothers for one of these but I have never heard of it before. It looks to be a guillotine style but I am not sure! Regular $60 for $40...anyone?

On my headstone it will read...Died still trying to find the perfect paper trimmer!

Humm...there are posts about this trimmer in this forum. I will search for them in a sec. I do remember everyone who had it LOVED it. I, in fact, asked Santa if he could find room in his sleigh to bring one to my house. LOL

I remember seeing it advertised ages ago but it cost a ridiculous amt of money. MUst be out on the market long enough for the price to come down that much...or possibly the recession strikes again? Do you have a link for this???

Thank you for the link to the thread...the info given seems to be positive. I don't even care about the laser part of it, I just want a straight cut, kwim? I may have to run to Aaron Brothers and check it out!

Sorry, I don't have a link, it was just sent in an email as "items of the week"...I even tried their website but I am not seeing any kind of "search". If you have an AB close, you might have to just go in to check it out. Sorry I wasn't more help...but at least the price is right!

Here is a link

And I am so with you! Just want a straight cut and to be able to do more than one sheet at a time!

Since we live overseas, everything comes here with a customs slip. I am 99% sure DH did get this for me...I checked the mail today and there was a big 'ol box...

Looks like I will be cutting everything in sight on the 25th!! LOL

I have one and I love it! It makes nice clean straight cuts and I really like the laser part... I use it a lot more than I thought I would. I got the wood base model and it is really nice and sturdy.

I absolutely LOVE mine!! If you've read the other thread you already know that. I've had mine for 2 years. I don't think the price is unreasonable. When I think of all of the money I have spent in search of the perfect trimmer...this is NOTHING! It sure beats several hundred dollars for that Genesis trimmer!
Anyway...again, I love mine!
