Hey ladies....have been looking at a Xyron and have found lots of helpful information here....but I have one question. Which model do you have to get to get the plastic piece on top that keeps the glue around the edges to a minimum?

The X does have the extra plastic. The 500-series does not. Not sure about the other sizes.

I have the X and the 250 and I prefer the 250. I think without the plastic it does a better job of taking the glue off the edges. I have trouble with glue getting stuck in the middle like in the "o" in words i run through it. HTH!:p
