If you could ONLY keep 2 of your tools....What would you keep
What would they be? I'm not talking the basics like paper, stamps, and stamping pads. What about the two tools that you have fallen in love with and can't do without?
For me my first tool would be my tonic cutter. Makes PERFECT straight cuts everytime! I've gone through a lot of cutters before I found the right one.
Second tool would be my MS scoring board. I just got it last week, but everytime I make cards now I use it. It's made my cards look crisp and clean. I also like making my own envelopes to match my cards. It makes is so much easier to measure the lines I want to score.
How about you? What can't you do without?

Mine are probably at the basic end of the spectrum but I'd probably make a whole lots less (or a whole lot more mess) without them:
Stamp positioner (like a Stamp-a-ma-jig although mine is homemade with lego bricks - lol!). Even if it's just for putting a sentiment on as a finishing touch, if I just spent ages on a card, I really don't want to mess it up with a crooked sentiment! I also find it invaluable for deciding whether or not to add something else to my project and whether to add it over here or over there (just lay your clear sheet over the project in various places and see how it looks).
Heat gun - for embossing and UTEE work obviously but also to speed up drying times and for fun with other materials. I just had a play with a new paint called Tera which bubbles beautifully if you blast it with a heat gun (results on my blog here if anyone wants to see what it does).
If either of those is basic enough not to qualify then I guess a die cutter would be pretty high on my list, too! And a brayer, and a...
Mine would have to be my ATG and my Fiskars Rotary cutter, with my scor-pal running very close behind. I don't know how I every made a card without all of my tools and toys though?
I love my ATG glue runner - I've almost finished the box of 12 refills that I bought with it last year. My Carl paper trimmer has been a good investment - better than the small cutter I had before. Last week I bought the MS scoring board, but I haven't tried it yet. I also love my crop-a-dile.
My Boston 2612 paper trimmer and an Ott Light. I absolutely must have my Ott Light. There is no point in having stamps, ink and paper if I can't see what I'm doing.
Ha ha ha, cant' choose just two. But tools that I always use are pretty low end and basic: rotary trimmer, craft knife, craft mat, non stick craft mat, tweezer, scissor, bone folder.
Top is my Genesis. LOVE the perfect cuts every time.
Then my ATG, although I could get along with Mono Multi if I *had* to.
But I also need my ScorPal, my Big Shot Pro, my KNK, my Expression, my punches, my Exacto knife, my paper piercer, my Copics, my Prismas, my ribbons, glitter, rhinestones, pearls, etc.
I'm not sure I would really want to craft without most of my goodies, LOL~
Cuttlebug and Nestabilities. I could never give up either one, they have made a world of difference in my card making. I hate cutting things out and trying to get even layers drove me nuts. With these 2 things, I don't have that issue anymore.

Oh, this is difficult to narrow it down to 2...
Definitely my Cuttlebug...but then I'd have to have embossing folders and Nestabilities. I'm not going to say paper trimmer 'cause to me that's an essential like paper and ink. :-)

my fiskars trimmer and that Heidi Swapp distressing tool...love it. I have a cuttlebug but I am still getting familiar with using it. Just bought some nestabilities last weekend so I need to experiment with those!
Genesis trimmer and Scor-Pal. But you gotta make it 3, because I couldn't do without my ATG!

I'm on board with the tequila and blender..Ha,Ha!!!
My punches...I know that's not just one tool, but I'm grouping them together
MS scoring board
I love my cuttlebug, but I don't use it a lot. Still, I would miss it.

Okay, you weren't talking about basics, and I think of my ATG (adhesive) and my cutter as basics.. because you really can't do anything without cutting and adhesive.
So.. if I HAD to pick two (what kind of nightmare is this anyway) lol.. I would have to pick my bigshot or cuttlebug which comes as a set with all of their accessories (folders, nesties, etc), and my MS Score Board.
If I had only 2 tools to keep, I would choose:
1. Wishblade - would allow me to cut anything. Could basically eliminate the "need" to own dies or punches...not that I really want to do that...
2. My Fiskars cutter - I cannot imagine not being able to cut/score cards. Granted, I also have a score pal for scoring and with a quick change could use the scoring blade on the Fiskars cutter....
I recognize that I have some redundancy and overlap in my tools.
