Default MY FIRST BIA PROJECT!!! WHOO HOOOOOO!!!!

I'm loving my BIA almost as much as my Cricut! It took a while and a couple of practices to get the BIA to do what it's supposed to do, but once I figured it out, it's really quite easy!

Please take a look at my first BIA creation and tell me what you think! TIA!!!

That's really cute!! Did you have any trouble lining up the two sides?

I have been thinking about getting a BIA, too.

No trouble at all, once I figured it out. I wasted approximately 2 strips of the wire while practicing. I did a Google search to get hints and then I searched the ZutterZisters web site and got more hints. Once you get it - it's a snap. I take a while to 'get it' because I'm a visual type of person. I'm so glad I bought the BIA because I make a lot of books - as you can see from my previous gallery posts to the current BIA post. How I wish it was around sooner!!!! Thanks for looking!

Love your project! My BIA had quite a workout this Christmas but sadly, no stamping on the book I made so no posting here. But it's such a fun little tool to play with and you can do so much with it! Congratulations!

That is really cute. Is the coil pink? Where did you find those. What brand of paper is that .
Thank you

Very cute and a great project idea! You did a wonderful job getting the holes centered on the cover and punched so nice and straight.

I finally decided I should try my BIA which I got a few weeks ago. My coils just don't come out rounded. I am probably pressing too hard. So I am wasting coils, too!! I will be making a trip to Archivers tomorrow to get more coils, as I think I will be going thru quite a few. I love all the projects I see that are made with the BIA, but right now I am a little frustrated. Any hints as to how to keep the coils round? TIA. Gail

It looks like the coil is a taupe color. The paper is the DCWV (die cuts with a view) glitter stack as per the description.

Actually, the coil is white - Zutter Zisters don't have a whole ton of colors for their coils.....YET!!! The DCWV paper I bought at my local Joann's. It's very glitter-y. I've seen the paper stacks all over town though, so I don't think it's a 'rare' find. Thanks for looking and for your comments!!!

awesome work, I love the BIA too, but don't seem to use it as much as I should. Maybe this will help me to get it out and play with it, I love my cricut too!
