What does everyone think about the promotion for the circuit system that is advertised for $49 for 5 months? I checked with Jo and they are charging $399, Michaels is charging $400. Any insights?
Those darn Spell Checker programs! They don't seem to know what a Cuttlebug is either. Cricuts.... Caardvarks.... my computer thinks that I don't know how to spell.

The infomercial I saw was pay 49.95 to try it out for one month. I didn't bother to watch the rest to find out how much it would cost to keep it.
It ends up costing 250.00 but there is at least 100.00 in extras that come with it. It does not add an extra 5 payments like some assume. It is just 4 more payments. At our Walmart, it is 190.00. I don't think 250.00 when you get those extras is too much, seems like a very good price to me.
Which machine are you referring to? There is the regualr one and then the Expressions? BTW- which channels are you ladies seeing the infomercials on? I have Directv.
It's the regular machine. It comes with the spatula, extra blades and mats, and an extra sample cartridge, maybe something else not sure. You can see the informercial on provocraft.com
Walmart is selling the Expressions for $289 with one cartridge. Our Roberts Crafts is selling the regular cricut for $149 I think I have seen the Cricut at
other places for less than 200, but don't know what all was with them.
Our Walmart doesn't have the expressions. Everywhere around here, which is probably the case in most places that I have heard of, Walmart has their baby bug selling for 184-189 and they are not selling the Expressions machine.
This page shows you what all comes with the offer. It's $249.75 + $3.99 s/h. or the one payment of $49.95 for 30 days and then 4 additional payments of $49.95.
This site also has a project gallery for those interested.

The comercial is for the baby cricut it ends up being $250 plus shipping and Handling. The prices you got of $399. Is for the Expressions. You can also get the expressions at Wally World for $284. The one on TV is a total rip off...HTH!
How is it a total rip off???? Walmart is selling it for 189.00. That is just a few bucks less than the infomercial. I just don't get where that comment came from. The 189.00 is for the baby bug. WTH? Our Walmart doesn't have the Expression and I am sure that most Walmarts don't have it.

The Walmart here in Vegas sells the small Cricut machine for $129.00. I haven't seen the larger Expressions machine there yet, but I bet it will be there by summer time. My friend bought several of the small Cricut at the Roberts Craft Store in Utah for $119.00 and for then for $10 or $20 more she got the carrying case and another cartridge.
I also thought the price of the one on the infomercial was quite high. And I thought it was misleading to not mention or post anywhere in the infomercial that the $49 was just the first payment. Just my humble opinion.
my Wal-mart has the Expression for $331 w/only Platin Schoolbook cart...i'm in Hawaii by the way, i'm surprise we have them before the ones in the States! we're usually the last to get anything...and by then, the stuff is considered outdated. lol
The expressions were put out at our WalMart just since Christmas so if yours doesn't have have it yet, they might soon. They beat Roberts here in Utah which is very unusual. They also had the software for $65.
I also think this isn't a very good deal. The Walmart by me is selling the
Bigger Ebug for only $34 more... at $284. I got my baby cricut for $119 (more than 50% less). As for the extras, 2 blades is $10 (but you can get them for cheaper), a paper trimmer (most papercrafters already have several and don't need another), a dvd (the cricut.com site has tons of how-to videos you can watch for free), the spatula (these are sold for $6-, and the extra cartridge is just sampler of several different cartridges... so if you plan to buy other cartridges it isn't worth much. I would pass on this 'deal'.
I was just at my local Wal Mart a couple of days ago. This Wal Mart did not have the baby bug for $119 the day after Thanksgiving like alot of other Wal Marts did. But it did get the Expressions after for $289 and the Design Studio software fo $64.97, Which I snatched up!
