Default Hot Knife - what else can you use it for?

I have lots of unmounted rubber stamps that I want to mount on EZ-Mount. But once those are done, I don't see myself buying more unmounted rubber. I'd like to buy a hot knife for what I have, but I was wondering what other things you use your hot knife for. I'd rather not buy it for just this one, limited project. Thanks!

You actually don't need it now. If you have SU or similar scissors, you can just cut them out. I personally do not like the hot knife. I rarely use it. Other things you can use it for are flower arranging and any craft in which you are using styrofoam. In fact, when I bought mine, it was with the flower arranging stuff.

I use mine to cut thick acrylic sheets and other types of plastic. Not super useful but I got it on sale and feel like I have to use it sometimes.

You can also use it to create your own stencils. Print out the pattern you like on paper and trace it onto acetate sheets. The hot knife can be used to cut out the designs.
