Pam...that is too funny, you ordered yours on my birthday and I was trying for weeks prior to that and had no luck. That is what I told my DH that I wanted for my birthday and he said to order one. I told him I was not able to get one in time, but I would wait until I could. It was the 13th of October before I was able to order my birthday present.........but it was well worth the wait!!! And my name is Pam too!!!

To those who have already used their MISTIs, I have a question for you. Okay, I think it is an awesome tool and has been great for 99% of my stamping. But, has anyone tried to stamp a full sheet (4-1/4x5-1/2) with a large background stamp. I cannot figure out how to adhere the paper down (you can't use the magnets if you're stamping the whole sheet). I'm thinking of trying stamping half of a 8-1/2x5-1/2 piece and then flipping it around and stamping again. Maybe I should place the stamp on the top of the MISTI and place the paper on the table (hope this makes sense). Thanks for reading all this.

I wanted let others know of my very recent experience with the MISTI. I attended a crop and instead of working on layouts, I worked on cards with several multi step stamps. Everyone at the crop was very impressed with the clean, crisp and very aligned image that the MISTI was able to produce. My cards turned out beautiful thanks to the MISTI.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered one. I'm #3431 and I cannot wait. Anyone have any idea what the last order# filled was? I know it will be awhile, but patience is not my strong suit!

2432 was the last invoice filled per her Faacebook page on 1/15. She is expecting a shipment to arrive today.

Only 180 people in front of me. I'm all good if the shipment is larger than 180

I think you may have a good shot at being in this shipment. She said at one point that an invoice# gets used even if someone backs out before finalizing order. Good Luck!

Wow, that's a lot of boxes. If nothing else, everything is the same size, so it must make packing a little easier. Still, that's a big task.

I really wish I could order one. Like really really. I wonder how much I could sell my husband for...

Only 956 people in front of me. I'm going to order a second one for my sweet friends birthday soon so I will have it in time. Looks like I still have a bit of a wait ahead of me!

Hopefully that should put you in the next batch. I'm still thinking of ordering a second one for myself just in case something happens to the one I have...LOL

I just ordered mine. I could never get the stamp-a-ma-jig to work right (I am soooooo uncoordinated)

I considered the fiskars stamp press, but saw a lot of comments about ""wiggling" and halo effects

...so when I saw this on FB, I was excited! It is a bit expensive, but I believe it will be worth while.

It is my Valentine's Day gift from Hubby. But he still has to take me out to dinner. Much cheaper than a diamond necklace, so he's not complaining.

Question about this. I really like the looks of this new tool, have been doing a little reading/watching videos. However, most of my stamps are wood mounted. Am I not going to end up spending a small fortune on EZ Mount cling to switch my stamps over so that I can use them with the Misti? I do have some photopolymer stamps which I cannot get decents images with, so I know it would be great for those ... but is it worth it to unmount my mounted sets to be able to use this? Just looking for opinions.

On the Facebook page, it says that that she is caught up to #2835.

However, I received a shipping notice last night, and I am #2850. Fingers crossed that it arrives soon! I have a big mass production project that I would like to undertake as soon as it arrives!

I'm not far behind...#2877! I haven't even received it yet, and it's already made me want to stamp more while I wait for it. I was ready to throw in the towel on stamping (been doing it for about 10 years), but this has just really ignited a spark. I get soooo frustrated when images don't line up or stamp right the first time. I waste a LOT of paper trying to get it as close to perfect as possible.

Good luck with your project...but you're not going to need it since you'll have your MISTI!

You don't need to sell an arm and leg to purchase EZ Mount cling to switch your wood stamps for use with MISTI.

I only purchased enough EZ Mount to work with my larger background stamps because I didn't like the way they worked with Aileen's Tack It Over and Over. But the smaller stamps work well with either smear of Tack It Over and Over OR the small amount of tackiness left once they are removed from the wood. I've tested everything on acrylic blocks first so that they are ready before I get my MISTI.

MISTI Cleaning question - I bought the recommended acrylic cleaner and IMHO it doesn't work on most of the inks or glue/adhesives that I get on my MISTI. The acrylic cleaner does a great job of polishing but not cleaning.

I try to remember to wipe the ink off but I'll get into the mojo going and forget and it's not a problem with water based ink but permanent inks are hard to remove because the products that remove this ink should not be used on acrylic. I have the same problem with adhesives but with adhesive residue I can roll it off.

Am I the only one who can't make the acrylic cleaner work to remove permanent inks?

BTW - I'm still in love with my MISTI and think this is the one tool every stamper should own.

Just use whatever cleaner it takes to remove the permanent ink. Then follow with the novus to remove any residues from the ink cleaner.

Do you use Aleene's Tack It Over and Over? You can roll it off with that square adhesive eraser I love so much?

I agree, EVERY Stamper needs MISTI. I was just about to give up on stamping entirely when I chanced upon this site. Now I feel soooooo sorry for any stamper who hasn't yet heard of MISTI, more loved than even my Genesis paper trimmer and VersaFine Onyx ink.

Short answer: no, you don't need to "spend a small fortune". Longer answer: you can use bare rubber with MISTI by using double-sided adhesive (I use poster tape) or temporary adhesive (Jennifer McGuire uses a tape runner) to hold the stamps to the cover. If you want a more "permanent" solution, you can use Tack It Over and Over or Sailor 2-in-1 glue (my personal favorite) or similar on the backs of the bare rubber so that they'll stick to panels for a storage system, as well as to the MISTI. If you really want to, you can add EZ Mount to stamps, like Mztease did for her background stamps, but I didn't want the expense or hassle, so 2-way glue is my method of choice. I use poster tape with large/background stamps. Just make sure that the glue has had sufficient time to dry (several hours) so you don't leave residue. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY!!!

I received my MISTI earlier this week - love it! I'm so happy to have invested in this tool.

Hi, I am left handed but didn't realize they had a left handed one. Why do you think the left is better for us. I have not been able to cathedral a ma jig. Thanks for your reply.

ARGH - My shipping notice says it was delivered today near/in my mailbox. Um, NO! A priority box will not fit in my mailbox, and the box was not placed on my front porch. I love USPS, but I absolutely hate how my carrier treats packages. I will have to call the post office tomorrow.
