Melon Mambo and Raspberry Fizz
 

Can anyone tell me if these are really close in color, and if not, what is the difference?

oh no not even close. One is purple one is deep pink...I think I described that right.

Oh I thought they looked similar too.. the SU melon and the PTI raspberry fizz.. hmmm if anyone has both maybe they could take a picture of them both:mrgreen:

I'd be very interested to see how hard I've got to kick myself after just investing into PTI's raspberry fizz... but if they are extremely similar, then it does save me money...

They are a super close match. I haven't stamped any images, but my guess would be either ink would work perfect with either paper.

Melon Mambo seems a little less bright, at least too me. But really they are close and to the untrained eye I think they are a match!

Okay I take back my previous message. In this late hour I rummaged through my piles of inks and stamped both colors!

When stamped side by side they are different!

Raspberry Fizz is a true pink
Melon Mambo is more of an orange/pink when stamped right next to raspberry fizz.

The papers are close, of course this is at midnight and the lighting isn't good in here. The Mambo is just not as bright compared to the fizz paper!

Perhaps tomorrow I will take a picture of the stamped images side by side and you can see the difference for yourselves!

They are indeed different, and I will say Raspberry Fizz is the best pink ever!!!

I agree, Melon Mambo is a little less bright, but they are a pretty close match.

I think Pink Passion is closer to Raspberry Fizz than Melon Mambo

Yes I did take some pics. I have had to fix my computer but I think my hubby is taking care of it today! So I will post when I get home from work assuming everything works. If not I will bring it into work tomorrow and upload from here!

Hi everyone!! Finally I was able to get the picture uploaded. I hope you can see the difference. If you would like any other photo's just let me know!

The papers look a lot a like in the photo and in real life they are very similar! The fizz just seems a bit more of a true pink and the mambo has some melon/orangery color to it!

I increased the exposure (no other changes) on the picture of the colors in the previous post by SavvyKat. It may make it easier to see the difference in colors...
