Marvy LePlume II Problem
Pleas see my pic for the problem. My twins got into my markers while I cooked supper. Any ideas on how to get it off? A bath lightened it up but not enough to take them in public without people thinking they are contagious.
Thanks

Wow, they did a good job!
Maybe a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol? You'd have to be very careful around the eyes though.
Good luck....

When I get ink on my hands that won't come off with soap and water I use hydrogen peroxide. If you don't get it near the eyes you should be okay. It won't hurt if it gets near their mouth, some people use it for mouth sores. The peroxide part bleaches the stain away. It will at least lighten it.

Try shampoo, it works to remove hair dye from the scalp.

Oh my word! I can only imagine your "consternation" (?) over this little "dilema".
I am also laughing so hard over the pics, I could PIMP! But, I feel for you-- I TRULY DO!!!
The only thing that came to my mind was rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide as the other gals have mentioned-- and, as they cautioned, just be very careful of the eyes!
I wonder if cold cream or "make up remover" would help at all . . .
I remember once when the little ones got into a tube of lipstick that had fallen out of my pocket--head to toe they smeared it, and all over the couch cushions . . . what a mess . . .
Oh my goodness, my goodness gracious . . . !!!

I always have good luck with baby wipes when my kids have gotten marker all over themselves. I love the picture. Did your daughter do her own face? Whichever one of them colored her did a great job, they were very thorough and made sure not to miss a spot.

Be honest.
Yes, this definitely is a memory to used in their high school years. How many photos did you take before getting down to business of cleaning it all off.

I think they both did their own. That is how they color too, my ds for 2 minutes with a couple of lines and my dd for 20 or 30 minutes white nuckled holding the crayon and coloring really dark, very much in the lines.

I obviously waited too long since it's not coming off well. My dd looks like she got into a fight with a tomato and lost.

I LOVE it. Maybe if you smooth some lotion and then rub it off with a washcloth.
So cute!!!!!!! I'm still smiling.

Avon sells a clear make up remover that took SU! black off of my DD. She looked terrible and after 3 days of it fading, she looked like she was bruised all over. I finally decided to try the stuff and it took it right off. Wish I could remember the name of it.

oh my...
I know the feeling though. When my 2yr old was still crawling she managed to get her hands on a bottle of printer refill ink... and of course it was blue! Covered from top to toe in blue ink cos she made the bottle split. She was a smurf for about 2 weeks! The bottom of her feet were still blue after 2 months. ppl thought it was funny tho!

There is a product sold through Sally's (hair stylist supplies), called 'Hair Color Stain Remover', by L'Oreal. I know it takes hair dye off my skin...even very dark brown, so I would certainly think it would remove pen ink.

Your kids are too cute...sorry to laugh but i understand. They color really good! I went thru this too but with black SU ink refill...all over the laminate floors, my microsuede curtains, their clothes & hands. And the black ink doesn't come off. It turns purple! I used goof off on their hands, clothes & even the curtains. I threw them in the washing machine right away & the clothes and curtains doesn't even have one mark or bleached stain on it cuz I thought the goof off was so strong that it would bleach everything. Then my DH & myself had it all over our hands but the Goof Off did work...omg....it was a big mess! I should have taken picture of my little ones.
