It was me that posted that originally, the one link is to Ellen Hutson so they will carry it. Little B has a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Littlebllc You might check/ask there about when it will be available. I don't do Facebook, so I'll leave that to someone else.

The plates she was demonstrating with I have. I love them but just wanted to point out that they are magnetised and hold the dies in place.

I don't think there are magnetic plates for the Cuttlebug.

No, I purchased them seperately, but use them with the cuttlebug. I love using them being longer and with the magnets but I know some people find they don't like the magnetic base controlling where the dies sit.

I think the cutting set the demo is using is the Genius system. It has the longer magnetic plate being used with a self healing mat. I don't have this system.

This would be great for when you use your die cutting side up. But, if you wanted to stamp an image and place the die cut side down (which I often do), you wouldn't be able to cut on that surface.

There are so many neat products out there. I just wish they could combine all the nifty ideas and put it into one product. ie a magnetic platform that didn't shift your dies and also has grid lines right on it.

So, I only saw Big Shots being used in the videos. Are there magnetic pads/platforms for the Cuttlebug? The reason I'm interested in the Little B is for use in my CB.

Might be able to flip it.

Default perfect positioner

Are we still talking about the Perfect Positioner. It did not look like it had anything to do with a magnetic platform. I do wonder about getting it flipped when cutting around a stamped image, though.

Yes, I was talking about the positioner. I'm thinking that you could line the die up on the image on the cutting plate, add the positioner plate and then flip it to run through.

Interesting. She says in the video that you have to stock up on it so how long does the adhesive last? I haven't had any problems with my magnetic platform as long as I'm not too close to the edges.

This looks like a great product.

The problem I find with the magnetic platform for the Big Shot is that your clear plastic plates have to be flat and not warped for use with the magnetic platform. How many times do we have a perfectly flat plate? Die cutting warps the plates easily! Even if I flip my plates to use the other side, they still do not "unwarp."

I agree. I just bought a new set of plates (with a coupon). I'm looking forward to the Perfect Positioner becoming available.

Just an FYI; I have been using my magnetic platform since it became available. It works better with a clean plate, but it still works with a used plate. There are places where the die will move on you due to the magnetic pull, no matter what kind of plate you have.
