spinner die from PTI

i bought the spinner dies and now am having a problem using them. i posted on the PTI forum but no answers there.

i did not buy the pti coasters...who knew...they are cheap but with shipping to get them now it would be outrageous. has anyone used this die set with something other than pti coasters? i am having a hard time cutting chipboard with them. so far i am not having much success.
