Question Another nestabillities question

So much has been said about the nestabillities but I am still confused. Here are my questions:

1. Do you need to punch out your paper and then stamp on it or can you stamp your image and then punch it out? Is it easy to line up the paper?

2. Is there anyway to punch a hole on the card front itself when using the cuttlebug with the nesties?

Hope this makes sense. Thanks

I only have one set, and haven't played with them much yet. But I hope I can answer your questions. First of all, yes, you can cut a hole out of the front of a card. It is very easy to do. I plan to do that with my Christmas cards, as soon as my rectangles get here this afternoon! Secondly, whether you cut first and stamp second, or stamp first and cut second, is really up to you. I have been able to do both. With wood-mounted stamps, I stamp first and then carefully line up my paper and nestability, and run them through my Big Shot. But with clear stamps it is easier to cut first and then line up the clear stamps right where I want them. So, it is really a personal preference, I think. HTH.

Since the Nestabilities are free formed dies, you can place them anywhere on a card front/paper and cut a hole/shape in it. You can then use the Tan Polymar Pad and run the die and paper/card through a 2nd time and emboss detail into your die cut or card front.

Stamp first or after. That is a personal choice. Which ever come easier for you.

Hope this helps.
