You will love your Bug. I've had mine for a while and have lots of folders....but the ones I use the most are the D'Vine Swirl and the Swiss Dot folders.
D'Vine Swirl was the very first folder I ever got, and I still like it a bunch!

Like Bugga, I use D'vine swirl and Swiss Dots the most. I think that overall, I use generic patterns the most - ones that can work for a variety of cards. Though I do have a slight addiction to embossing folders and I love nearly every single one I have purchased! I also use the small folders a lot, and the borders especially!
Thanks.... I purchased the divine swirls the day I bought my CB. They didn't have the swiss dots or I would have got that one. Good to know I'm on the right track.LOL
Thanks again for your comments.

I love my bug too! I love the Swiss Dots and D'Vine Swirl. I also have some of the small folders and borders but haven't used them as much. Do any of you have cards to share that you have used these on? I need some ideas.
Definitely Swiss Dots. I also just bought a herringbone folder (I think it's brand new) and I can see me using that A LOT, too. Especially for masculine cards.
Also love Swiss Dots, but my favorite set is "With Love" - here's a card I made with one the folders from that set. My favorite Christmas folder is Lace Tree and this card is my favorite that I've made from that folder. I also like the "Winter Border" set, but haven't posted any cards with this set yet.
Enjoy! You're in for a lot of fun!

I use D'vine Swirls, Swiss Dots and Birds and Swirls the most. On my wish list is Stylized Flowers, Textile Textures, and some borders. I think I'd use these a lot too. I also want Bird Call and Paisley. I wouldn't use those as often, but I love them.

So much fun, the Bug! I love D'vine swirls and Swiss Dots too, and I really like Paisley too! That one is fun to ink inside before you add cardstock, go ahead and put through the bug and 'oila! Tooled Leather look! Snowflakes are great for Christmas cards! Those embossing folders are the best!
Funnily enough, I don't own swiss dots (I don't think it was in stock when I was purchasing the folders) but I can certainly see how versatile it is. My go to folder is script texture (I tend to use a corresponding ink pad and put some colour on the paper after it's embossed to highlight the shape of the letters).
I tend to use Swiss Dots alot and Argyle alot but I love all of them, each seem to have a special place in my crafting room. I need more-hopefully will place another order soon.
I also really love Damask Frames, Persia, & Ornamental Iron which have a regular size Folder and several dies that coordinate well. These can be very versatile. I hope they make more of this style since each one comes with appox 4 dies- frames and borders included.

These are mine too!

I'm wanting to get the Script folder myself. I saw a card made with it, fell in love and now have to have it. Like other posters, I think I reach for Swiss Dots and D'Vine Swirls most of the time.
