I was told that the Craft inks are for embossing. But I've never tried it.

I think the Classic are dye based inks and the Craft are pigment inks. But I could be wrong. LOL~

I use them for all my stamping and scrapbooking needs. The color supposedly last longer and stays truer in pigment ink than in water based ink. I just like pigment ink because it is easier to ink stamps with.

I use it primarily to emboss sentiments to match my SU cardstock, but I have also found that it does a much better job of covering and getting a clean image from solid stamps. The color is also more vivid.

Correct, and do you understand the difference? Dye based inks soak into the paper and become a part of it (think bleach) and pigments bond to the surface of the paper and become permanently attached to it.

I use craft inks when I want added texture, as well as more saturated color. I usually heat-dry pigments with my embosser, even if I am not using EP ~ but then, I am impatient and want to move on quickly to the next step, LOL!
