I use it a lot as accents on my cards. You can check my gallery out if you like to see some examples. It works much better for me than glitter itself. It is also great to diecut bold sentiments as well.

I tend to use it for punched or die cut shapes to use as embellishment or for a little glitz. I'll see what examples I can find to attach in case that gives you any ideas!
I too use it for die cuts- think Christmas, and baubles/snowflakes, or for sentiments. Would be cool for Balloons for Birthday/celebration cards too. Also, makes a good matting layer. You'll need a silicone glue to do that- I use Pinflair glue gel.
I use glitter cardstock alot in my cardmaking - anything from a punched heart accent or diecut snowflakes from white glitter cardstock. I also love to colour Stampin' Up white glitter cardstock by sponging them with Distress Inks so I can match colours with the rest of my card & then diecutting them. Here is a card that I made using this technique & I diecut butterflies. I have also attached a Christmas card where I diecut silver glitter cardstock.
Very pretty cards, JoBear! Like most of my supplies, the glitter cardstock is sadly neglected - time to pull it out and use it! Maybe for VSN this weekend...?
I don't know how to post photos, but I will describe it. Using the word dies which have a 'silhouette' separate die that is bigger than the word. I hope you can visualize. I used glitter cardstock for the bigger die behind the word, and my 14 yr old granddaughter's friends were quite impressed with her valentine. You could use the glitter for both parts, but I wasn't sure they would stick together. Zip Dry stuck the regular cardstock front word to the glitter very well.
I need to note-not all glitter paper is equal for detail die cutting. Ie I have problems if it has an adhesive backing to it or is extra thick. It might also promote shedding in some papers. But when it works I really like it
Works great for anything that my Silhouette Cameo can cut. 1000's of Words, shapes, frames, borders, backgrounds! The best glitter paper for the machine is Glitzy by DCWV. Love red for Christmas & Valentines Day!
A little goes a long way. Glitter tends to look best if you keep its usage minimal, ~10% of the card is a nice ballpark to start with. Same goes for metallic. Both of them add 'punch', make for a focal point but can end up looking overwhelming if you add too much. It's like spice - can make things tasty with a pinch, or awful with the whole jar!
I'll second that die-cutting it is the way to go, especially for small accents or infills that might get otherwise lost in the design.
