Ink and Copic Markers

Sorry if this has been discussed, but I can't get the search function to work :( I'm just wondering which inks are the best for stamping your images with when you are going to colour them with copic markers. Thanks for any help!

I just bought my copics saturday.

I've had mixed results, which I think were the fault of the paper. I used palette noir on WW and it worked well. palette noir on VV (I think) did blur and the colours seeped.

I'm going to try adirondak as it was suggested on a blog, somewhere...

But as I say I think it was the paper that caused this issue. Coated seems to work best....

Anyone else?

I played with my new copics yesterday and had good results with StazOn and Papertrey card stock.

I use Papertrey cardstock and Adirondack ink or Pallette ink.

HTH:)

I use Staples or Office Max 110 lb cardstock and most of the time Memories ink with my Copics. I do really like Versafine black also, but takes longer to dry and usually I am too impatient!

My favorite results are with Ranger's Adirondack ink.

I heat set first and use palette noir or Brilliance.

Brilliance and heat setting here as well.

I heard StaZon is not good because it's solvent based and since alcohol ink blends alcohol ink it will tend to bleed but looks like Tamara didn't get that problem.
